My usual "cut off" for a board game is 7.0 from BGG but for $5 bucks, it might still be worth it if I happen to find one.

6.8 at boardgamegeek

5.5 is the BGG rating, 6.8 is the user rating.
The BGG rating takes into account how many people have rated it.
Games that are actually good are rated more and from all appearances this is not a great game.
There is too much randomness, dice rolling and at low player counts there are clunky dead spots. I didn't play it, just browsed the feedback.
Hard pass for me but if someone is a 007 fan then maybe thy will play it a few times.

Some of my all time favourite games have horrible BGG reviews. The people on that site are pretentious douchebags. Unless the game requires a degree in advanced physics, takes 2 hours to explain & a steep learning curve that appeals to the hardcore top 5%, it'll get mediocre reviews.

Damn, only 64 reviews, 21 comments on BGG? Very unpopular, I will tell you that for free. With so few reviews, that 6.8 score doesn't mean much honestly.
Dice Tower said a pretty meh, ok-ish worker placement game.
Art style pretty boring, come on this is 007 can't they at least try harder? Weight 2.5 and time 20-45min, so not a filler game and not the easiest game to teach.
Conclusion: Will probably be in your shelf collecting dust, until you get rid of it in a garage sale. You are not going to gift this to a new board game player. Experience board game players like yourself won't even want this.
I still gave this post a thumbs up, because it is cheap. But this will be pass for me.
Best shopping deals I got from here:
Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom $300, ZTE Blade V8 Pro $175, Fluld 55' 4k TV $360

Azul, Cascadia, Codenames, Ticket to Ride are all super easy to teach and learn in minutes and are rated near the top on that site and there are many others that are similar in difficulty rated very highly so I really don’t understand your rant.

Have you ever seen a girlfriend or partner you gave a gift to cry? Trust me, those were not tears of joy or positive emotions.

Forget BGG, read some of the posts on here. Board games are serious business.

I saw these at Markham and Sheppard on the weekend. The box caught my eye but after reading on it, it didn't really interest me. There was quite a few on the shelf.

I like 007 and board games, but I'm suspicious of most board games based off of movie or TV franchises. From the reviews, this seems to be a really difficult game to like. The incoherent rulebook is a dead giveaway that this was just something dreamed up by a marketing department aimed at milking the Bond franchise for all it's worth.
