Wow!, that is a very long maintenance, I saw xbox EU was due to have some extra but didn't notice the duration. now I have my glasses on (🤓) I'm shocked. What on earth are they doing?

Basically losing a day of the Bonus Explorer Celebration...

Xbox EU: the server that was last to get the new hardware upgrades, so delayed in fact that a large percentage of our playerbase permanently migrated over to NA because of this. It doesn’t surprise me that we’re aren’t considered for a little bit of communication/explanation regarding a 14 hour randomly scheduled maintenance.

There are still 40 minutes remaining of the planned downtime as of when I'm posting. Crossing fingers for xbox players it isn't extended

Just adding to the thread.
This maintenance window has been extended and I suspect is now going to take up the core playing time for most EU players.
Scheduled Wednesday trials? Not tonight.
Let hope that the design for Elder Scrolls 6 takes maintenance windows into consideration. In this day and age with micro services, etc, this should not happen. (But not holding my breath).
Communication on this is fairly poor as well. It would be nice for an explaination on why the maintanance window has been extended to such an extreme timeframe.

The maintenance and validating to make sure everything is running properly is taking longer than expected. The team needed more time. It was not intended.
Also we do not work on Elder Scrolls 6. That is Bethesda Game Studio. Different team.

Here is the answer I got, and I dont like that answer. Only creates more frustration and anger. I informed about losing the whole day in the ticket, but nothing about compensation at all.

Got the same exact generic answer...fed up with the continued indifference from help Desk...they clearly have no understanding of what is occurring in the game!
